When you're a warrior cat in the middle of the wild, not every day is going to be sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes, Mother Nature is just going to want to throw a wrench in your plans, and that wrench may take the shape of an angry dog, hungry fox, crotchety badger, etc. Otherwise, maybe your cat wants to go after some bigger prey that's much more dangerous than your typical mouse. Either way, you're going to have to request a modded thread, and that's where this board comes in handy.
Hunting
While requesting harder-to-catch prey, the prey and every cat involved will have a health bar, like so.
Whenever the cats involved attempt an attack, which they will write in their posts, the moderator will roll a dice with a range from 1-20. Then, depending on the resulting number, one of four scenarios can happen:

HEALTH
Whenever the cats involved attempt an attack, which they will write in their posts, the moderator will roll a dice with a range from 1-20. Then, depending on the resulting number, one of four scenarios can happen:
⇾ 1-5: Attack hits, no retaliation
⇾ 6-10: Attack hits, retaliation
⇾ 11-15: Attack misses, no retaliation
⇾ 16-20: Attack misses, retaliation
While the scale can potentially change depending on the difficulty of the prey, for the most part it is evenly scaled. If an attack or retaliation lands, then the health bar will be reduced depending on what the moderator believes is fair depending on the health, age, experience, and strength of the cat or prey that is attacking. And, the cycle continues until one side has won.
If a cat has run out of health, they are not dead. But, they have to retire from the hunt as they have been critically injured. Otherwise, cats are free to leave the hunt at anytime, even before the prey has been killed.
Healing time for injuries will be posted by the moderator once the hunt has ended (meaning that all the cats have left or the prey has been defeated).
Predators
Similarly, when faced with a predator, the cats and predator will also have health bars, and the battling system is run the same way as above. However, instead of the predators dying once they have run out of health, they will decide to flee. Please note that these fights are a lot more dangerous, and sometimes cats may be crippled for life afterwards.
Rewards
After a successful hunt or battle, the cats involved will be given a monetary reward. Depending on how difficult the prey or predator was to defeat, the amount given will fluctuate between $30-$50. Moreover, any cats who have chased off a predator will be mentioned in name at the next gathering and respected for their bravery.
