The emergence of greenleaf provides a timely distraction from the scars left by the biting sickness, and allows the Clans time to recuperate as they struggle with their losses and to regain control of their lives. Prey is abundant, and the weather is warm and comforting. Occasional rains keep the territories cool, and prevent any unnecessary heat waves.
Thunderclan
With the warmer weather comes an increase in prey. Squirrels are a constant distraction as they chatter in the trees overhead, and baby birds are just testing out their wings as they leave the nest for the first time. Foxes have been scented in the area, but without any necessary competition for food, they have mostly stuck to the outskirts of the territory.
Riverclan
While most of the waters would be drying up during greenleaf, this year has been surprisingly kind and the streams remain flowing throughout the territory. Water voles have become more daring as they venture up the riverbanks in search of the best greens, and fish can constantly be seen darting through the shallows.
Shadowclan
While the rest of the Clans have been enjoying the upturn in weather, the thick pine forest filters out most of the Sun's warmth. As a result, it is still relatively cool in the marshy landscape. But, lizards are quick to take advantage of any spots of sunlight, often suntanning on rocks and flat ground, making them easy targets for hunting.
windclan
Flowers are in full bloom across the moors, making for a dazzling sight as hares frolic amongst the shrubs. But, while that does provide for more prey for the Clan, apprentices and smaller cats also need to be more careful when out on their own as the boom in the prey population has also led to more interest from aerial predators.
