- -6 Moons AgoThe Initial Transfer An unnamed cat of ShadowClan is bitten while on patrol. They are treated by ShadowClan's medicine cat and allowed to resume warrior duties after a day of rest.
- -4 Moons AgoThe First OutbreakThe "biting sickness" is discovered in ShadowClan territory. The infected cat, following symptoms of fever and dehydration, attacks fellow ShadowClan warriors. They are finally killed after injuring several warriors and apprentices. Froststar chooses to hide this strange occurrence from the rest of the clans.
- -3 Moons AgoThe Sickness SpreadsShadowClan continues activities as normal. Several more cats show similar symptoms and summarily attack their clanmates. These cats have also participated in border patrols and skirmishes with fellow clans. Realizing she cannot hide it any longer, Froststar reveals to the clans at the next gathering what has occurred.
- -2 Moons AgoThe Great MarchThe four leaders decide to exile their sickened clanmates. Shortly following this decision, cats are sent away on what would be termed "the Great March". All clans would be severely weakened following this expulsion and a temporary truce is enacted.
[li]1 Moon AfterWindClan Hesitantly RestoredSwiftfoot of WindClan becomes Swiftstar. Littlestar is appointed as deputy, and after troubling dreams, Antnose is tentatively named medicine cat.[/li]
