account setup
▬ Your display name must be your character's name. The username you sign up with should be your OOC name and the cat's number. Ex: Heika1, Heika2, etc. This should keep things neat and tidy!

Character creation
▬ Character names should follow canon rules. Human-created concepts should be avoided. We also discourage names similar to Brightspirit; while this is a canon name, it was created specifically to honor a Warrior fan and as such is out of place amongst regular clan names. If you are uncertain of whether your name will be acceptable or not, feel free to ask in the cbox!
▬ Cats from different clans may share the same prefix; there is canon evidence of this occurring within the Warrior series. Cats, however, may not share the same suffix/prefix as this could cause undue confusion.
▬ You may not create a queen or a kit. If you are interested in having kits, there is an NPC male available in the shop! However, we encourage you to roleplay finding a player-controlled mate.
▬ Apprentices must be at least six moons old and can be no older than ten moons.
▬ Cats should have realistic pelt colors and styles found in domestic cats. This should allow you a wide range of options, and if you're confused about what may or may not be acceptable, feel free to ask in the cbox!
▬ Also, cats should have realistic eye colors. Moreover, heterochromic eyes must be purchased from the site's store.

roleplaying

▬ Leaders will choose an apprentice's warrior name, as we feel this encourages their players to be more invested in their clan's threads. However, apprentices are free to suggest warrior names they would like.
▬ Battles between cats must have a winner chosen beforehand by the players involved. In the event of Clan battles, staff will choose a winning side beforehand and players may choose for themselves what sort of injuries they incur.
▬ To become a warrior, an apprentice must have at least three completed threads: one hunt training, one battle training, and a final assessment. However, if your mentor is having difficulty replying and you have been waiting for an extended period of time (one real life month), then please PM your leader to talk about hand-waving the requirements.
▬ If you would like a special prey item during your hunting thread, please remember to request mod participation here. Modded animals, while difficult to catch, award money!
▬ Characters are free to catch regular prey in threads without mod participation. These prey items will not be awarded currency.
▬ Mod events will occur randomly while you roleplay. Staff may choose to utilize these random events at any time. However, staff will never outright kill your character, though grievous injury has a small chance of occurring.
▬ Should any character choose to act against Warrior Code, they have a chance of being discovered.
▬ Forbidden Romances have a chance of being discovered after each meeting / thread! If they are discovered, the leaders are free to punish the law-breakers as they wish. Harsh punishments such as exile from the Clan, loss of trust, and even outright aggression can and should be expected.
▬ Kit Adoptions has been implemented to allow couples incapable of giving birth (for whatever reason) the ability to have kits. Please note that these kits come with certain restrictions not placed on regular kits in an attempt to ensure the clans are not overrun with adopted / outside kits. Even if the clan leader allows the kits to be brought into the clan, clan cats are encouraged to have doubts, be bigoted, etc. Not everyone is going to love your precious, non-clan kittens!
▬ During Winter/Leafbare, kits have a lower rate of being born healthy, and clan members have a chance to catch Whitecough or Greencough. You will be PMed by a staff member if your character contracts an illness, and it is up to you whether your character seeks help or not.
▬ Upon creation, kits are automatically aged to two moons. Afterwards, every two weeks they will age one moon until they have reached eight moons and can become an apprentice. You are in charge of keeping track.
▬ All characters (excluding kits) age approximately one moon each month. Apprentices may bypass this, however, if they choose to speak to their leader after one real life month has passed. (If you receive your warrior name this way, please remember to age your character up to between ten and twelve moons of age)
▬ We do allow the use of liquid time. We simply ask that all players keep track of when each thread is happening so impossible timelines do not occur (AKA two threads happening moments apart when the locations are incredibly far apart).
