I don't even know what I don't know [Littleflame/Open]

It had been what Littleflame would consider an easy day, for the most part. The weather was bearable, prey easy to find on the several hunting patrols he had sent out, one of which he had led himself. The fresh-kill pile was not lacking, and if it wasn't for their small numbers and the trauma that remained, it would be hard to tell that WindClan had just experienced the biting sickness. Littleflame couldn't help but take some pride in that, proud that he was somewhat managing to keep their clan running smoothly. Normalcy was important, to outsiders looking in as well as to the members of the Clan. Of course, every step he made as deputy was uncertain, but he didn't let this show, holding himself instead with a sense of confidence. He wouldn't let the Clan doubt him or Swiftstar fail to feel that he could rely on him. Appearances were everything. 

He had been planning to rest for a while, socialize if he could bring himself to do it, when his eyes spotted Antnose heading towards the camp exit with clear determination. This stopped the small deputy in his tracks, blue eyes following the medicine cat's path for a moment. Was he leaving alone? He knew a medicine cat leaving on their own was not uncommon, but considering how Antnose was their only source of knowledge when it came to herbs (no matter how lacking that knowledge may have been), Littleflame found that he was not exactly fond of the idea of simply letting the older tom leave on his own. So, abandoning his socializing plans (not without some relief, of course), he turned, heading after the black tom with some haste to catch up. 

"Antnose." he greeted as he fell into step beside the other, tilting his head slightly to regard him, "You look like you need some company. Do you care if I join you?" He would have liked to have been more scolding, but it was hard to take such a tone with a cat that was so much his elder. Besides, he could just hope that his presence alone was enough to make Antnose aware of how silly he was being to slink off alone. Hopefully, at least.
