In the world of aliens, gifted humans and heroes, nothing is ever uneventful. Avengers fighting the bad guys alongside S.H.I.E.L.D. and other vigilantes, H.Y.D.R.A. causing chaos and those gifted with powers trying to hide away from possible persecution, though others stand up and cause more problems for themselves. The words 'they walk among us' have never been so true.
Hidden in the suburban Westchester lies Xavier's Institute, a home and school for mutants and, in some cases, other gifted individuals. Posing as a boarding school for the gifted and talented, so far it has led a quiet existence. But for how long?
H.Y.D.R.A. are slowly getting stronger, recently attacking a building in Brooklyn. They've not stopped there, either; they're about to unleash America's prison inmates on the world and not all of them are human...
Perhaps the Avengers will need a little help...

Stars and Shields is a slightly AU MCU/XCU RP set after Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant Man, and an AU timeline of Xmen. This story has yet to be written; future films/episodes may or may not happen as it does in canon. It's up to us to decide.
