Once the proud inhabitants of a continent known as Aragor, the majority of the human population of the known world were forced to flee their home following a drastic growth of volcanic activity within the land's vast mountain ranges. They discovered the mysterious land of Esnium, the home of powerful magic and various beings previously assumed to be nothing more than legend. This event became known as the Flight of Aragor.
The elves of the nearby city Rhylenor caught wind of the arrival of two new races of men to Esnium, and, feeling pity for these refugees, they granted them a vast area of land on which the stronghold city of Skystead was built.
It is now three-hundred years after the Flight of Aragor, and the men of Skystead are beginning to fall subject to greed. The area of land bestowed upon them by the Rhylen elves is not enough, it seems. They want more, and they aren't afraid to let the elves know by openly attacking. Will they succeed, or will the Rhylen Elves continue to fend them off? One thing is certain— these growing tensions have every civilization wondering just who they can trust.
