APPEARANCE
Rowanpaw is a ginger tabby tom with a white chest and paws, his fur is short and his eyes are amber. His fur could even be considered a bit more golden than ginger, his stripes are dark and thicker around his flank. While he is a young apprentice he is large for his age and will likely become even bigger. He is a bulky apprentice that has still not grown into big paws and often likes to take up space.
PERSONALITY
Rowanpaw enjoys being the centered of attention, does not matter much to him if it is good or bad as long as he is in the middle of it. He desperately wants to be known and even more so he wants to be liked though he is not too sure how to go about it.
He can be a bit lax when it comes to clan borders, he does not think about the issues with making close friends in other territories and frankly he doesn't care as long as he can find someone to play with. He is very into exploring with friends, he will happily grab clanmates a take treks around the territory, shirking his actual duties.
Still he can be very playful he has a certain zest for life that has yet to be dampened and while he is incredibly unfocused he has his ambitions to one day be something big in his clan, someone who can make decisions instead of getting the orders.
He is short tempered, he doesn't like to take orders and will often charge ahead and not think clearly. He is quick to judge and quick to fight. Many cats will meet his sharp tongue and bad temper if he is in a foul mood.
He can be easily offended, he doesn't like to be negatively talked about and stresses about what others think of him though he pretends he doesn't care.
When Rowanpaw is being genuine, its shown that he truly wants the approval of his clanmates and loyal friends. He is fiercely protective of the ones he cares about, terrified of loss, and he can even be charming and pleasant to be around if he is around cats he finds pleasant. He even likes to goof around a bit, but he can become jealous when his friends or others make new friends being he is uncertain about sharing.
HISTORY
It was not much of a surprise when Tansyheart had become pregnant. She was a pretty she-cat who was soft spoken and had grown up with a tom named Ravenjaw. The two had a deep bond with eachother and had become mates not too long after becoming warriors though both reveling in their happiness it had taken them awhile to decide to have kits.
When the time came Tansyheart had four kits, Rowankit, Oakkit, Pinekit and Juniperkit. The four grew up as happy as any kits could, infact the siblings were quite close to eachother. Even Ravenjaw, despite being a busy warrior, always found time to visit his kits and often spent more time with them and Tansyheart then he probably should of.
Tansyheart knew she had picked well for a mate, she already knew that once the kits had grown up to be apprentices she would already want another litter.
Not everything would be peaceful forever, no one expected a sickness to come sweeping in. At one point Pinekit had fallen ill, it was just a fever but Tansyheart worried all the same but it was Ravenjaw who took the kit to the medicine cat den. It was there that those two would stay. Both became tainted though young Pinekit did not last very long and died swiftly. Ravenjaw held on longer and while Tansyheart longed to visit him as he visited her and the kits she knew she could not risk getting sick for her remaining three kits.
Ravenjaw did not succumb to the sickness he lasted long enough that he was one of the cats forced to leave camp. That was one of the last things Rowankit and his siblings saw of their father, his form unrecognizable as he walked with his mangy, bone thin form. Tansyheart did not see him or any of the other cats off, instead she stayed in her den.
When the kits became apprentices their mother still remained in her den, she barely left and has been sitting deep in her despair. Freshly apprenticed Rowanpaw has recently become bitter over this, not wanting to understand his mother's grief. He missed Ravenjaw too but he has become angry over Tansyheart not being there for him. He has begun to feel like he lost both his parents.
