LEADERS
Leaders are expected to:
- Have a high and consistent level of activity. Leaders are the final word in their clan (unless StarClan decides to intervene) and as such they must be available to make decisions at any moment.
- Be willing to communicate with numerous characters, both through PM and by post. Leaders will assign mentors and choose warrior names amongst other responsibilities.
- Be prepared to punish cats who break the Warrior Code, regardless of the player's personal feelings. Leaders may roleplay leniency if it fits their character but a stickler for the rules should dole out fitting punishments.
- Carry out ceremonies as necessary and be prepared to act as the mediator in high-tension events.
- PM staff each month two to three days before the Gathering is held with a list of items he or she would like to announce. Newborn kits, newly-made warriors, abundant prey, anything that a leader might boast or warn about is newsworthy!
- Come to staff with any concerns they may have and request "surprise" events for their clan. These events are random and can be either helpful or harmful, so think carefully before requesting one!
deputies
Deputies are expected to:
- Assist leaders in maintaining the clan. This applies to both in the roleplay and out of it.
- Administer punishment when clan members break small rules. This may include going without a meal for eating prey while hunting, kits being confined to the nursery after sneaking out of camp, etc.
- Be in charge of final assessment threads. Deputies must be present during an apprentice's final assessment thread for the start and end of it.
- Be willing to assume the responsibilities of the leader if they are suddenly absent from the roleplay. This may include PMing staff information about the clan's Gathering Announcements, conducting ceremonies, etc.
medicine cats
Medicine Cats are expected to:
- Be highly active to care for ill or sickened cats.
- Receive mysterious messages from StarClan (in the form of PMs) that they must interpret for the clan.
- Be willing to gather once a month for Half-Moon meetings and be involved in the corresponding thread.
- Be able to consistently and appropriately administer care. Improper herb usage may result in death of the patient! Or at the very least a bad bellyache.
- Be willing to take on an apprentice when they feel the time is right.
