Oh man, how to begin. Swiftstar used to be a pretty typical punk. Lost in the throes of young adulthood, friends were more of an accessory. Now, however, as leader, he's hesitant to even label another cat as such. It's too easy to imagine the elders grumbling about him playing favorites. And hell, he doesn't know what he's doing; what if he secretly is? Normal clanmates will likely have a hard time getting close to the uncertain tom, but other cats in leadership positions may be exactly the kind of solace he can take comfort in.

Swiftstar isn't a fan of enemies. He may still have something of a temper, but even he realizes that clan wars are not a good thing in the aftermath of the epidemic. That doesn't mean other cats can't get under his skin, though. Question his leadership abilities, his commitment to the clan, or anything similar and you'll earn yourself a one-way ticket onto his shitlist. He is not an active rival, but he is the type to remember long-standing grudges.

Poor guy. He's had a bit of flirting in his day, but his parents raised him to not pursue a true relationship unless he was certain of his feelings. Beyond that, he's never had much interest in a relationship just to fulfill his clan duties - though he is fond of kits. Any cat who wants to romance him will likely need the confidence to stand where he falters. That isn't to say he's dependent! It's just what he needs most right now is a true partner, who can make up for his weaknesses but won't lord it over him. Any romances will probably be of the slow-burn sort, and I'm open to same-sex or opposite with him. My only no would be a forbidden romance, whether it be with a cat from another clan, a loner, or a medicine cat! Thankfully Antnose is waaaay too old for him.

Have your own idea? Feel free to him me up! I'm very open to the idea of him losing a life or two, and I'm more than willing to work with plots that may be outside his comfort zone. He's definitely the type not to have many friends, but he's actually a big sweetheart! You'll probably never be as important as his brother is, but this cat would throw his life on the line to defend his friends. At the same time, he is a stickler for the warrior code, and if your cat was to betray the code in some way they might find themselves at odds with him! In general, he'd probably do best with some more active, energetic cats to balance out his naturally quiet nature.

While a fairly young cat, Leafclaw represents a powerful threat to other clans. He is unwilling to compromise the defense of his home (regardless of outside clans' suffering), and acts strictly within the warrior code. Being such a large cat with the powerful shoulders of a typical ThunderClan cat, he probably comes off as quite intimidating and I'd love for him to be a cat other clans whisper about when they talk about strong, ferocious cats. Given his uncompromising personality, I'd like to think he's probably fought with at least one or two cats who have a grudge against him.

OH MAN GOOD LUCKk??? This guy is weirdly obsessed with his brother, and after seeing how Ebonywing's own romance turned out (spoilers: not good!), he's rather unwilling to take a true mate. He is, however, more than willing to act as a father and fulfill the clan's need for more kits. Just don't expect a true romantic attraction to follow it. He'll be your partner in raising the kits, but if you want a lifetime mate, you should probably keep going.

I'm fully relying on the ThunderClan cats and nature's random events to change Leafclaw. He's probably the most "complete" cat amongst my characters right now, which means he requires some pretty drastic events and complex relationships to begin to see things differently. I think he could be great as a third-party to certain types of plots (acting as the harsh law or just a cat who stands between the others), but he isn't quite yet malleable enough to really act as one-half in a full-on character arc. Or story. Whatever.

Bluepaw has a hard time making friends. Suspicious of older cats and with a macabre outlook that disturbs her younger clanmates, the young she-cat is often ostracized. Her words drip poison, and her eyes burn blue fire. She is fire and brimstone, and in a clan ruled by water, her fiery disposition can be hard to handle. If possible I'd like her to make some friends amongst older cats, possible more jaded? Maybe they can tease her for being so cynical at such a young age, or they can drive her further into this repugnant personality. At the same time, she's really soft with younger kits? She wants to protect their innocence but her natural disposition makes her awkward around them as she struggles not to slip back into her typical misanthropy. However, she's interested in how other clans dealt with the sickness and if their leaders sucked as bad as hers did! As such, she may be more friendly during gatherings and act genuinely interested in your cat! (If that sort of thing interests you)

I mean she already thinks Sunstar sucks! Natural optimists likely can't stand this bitter young cat, and I fully encourage fellow RiverClan cats to call her out for her negative nancy shit! Just be ready for her to fire back; with so little respect for her older clanmates, she hasn't learned how to shut up. I definitely expect some friction with her clanmates. Maybe even some little spats that ends up with the pair getting in trouble?? I already expect her to be very anti-ShadowClan, just because of Froststar's own prickly nature! Sorry your leader sucks at diplomacy, ShadowClan!

Oh yeah, baby romances :u Ahem. Getting with Bluepaw will be pretty difficult. She's driven, and that makes her blind to others' emotions. At the same time, having a cat who could push against her, challenge her views, and probably be a pain in the ass might be good for her? I mean it could also backfire horribly, but you know. At the same time, possibly having a softer cat might also be good for her, just because she'd be unable to keep up her typical caustic attitude in the face of such a gentle creature? She's good with all genders, though keep in mind she is an apprentice, so full-blown romance would have to wait for her to become a warrior, haha.

Of all my characters, Bluepaw is the closest to becoming a villian! I could easily see her going the way of Tigerstar if her ambition and critical thinking isn't controlled and channeled into a more positive personality. However, this is only one of several paths she can take, and her reaching that point would probably take several real life months! As she is an apprentice, I encourage lots of different personalities to interact with her; any cat could really shake her worldviews up and possibly transform her into something else.

Featherpaw is a pretty little thing, with just enough of a learned helplessness that you want to protect her. And yet what keeps cats close to her is her quick wit, a hidden humor that keeps her mood lighthearted in even the darkest of circumstances. Due to these qualities, I could see her making friends fairly easily, even with the more solitary cats. I'd love for her to make cross-border friendships! In general she's happiest when she's in control of herself, and I think the rush of slipping out to meet friends would keep her head clear and her paws swift. Despite her friendliness, I don't see her forming deep, lasting friendships, however, and her friends from enemy clans might be in for a nasty surprise if they ever met in battle.

Featherpaw is very much so designed to be a pushback against the idea of "strong" heroines. For cats who can't look beyond her pretty looks and her occasional dependency on others will quickly find out she isn't the type to just roll over or go running off into the bushes. I'd love for her to be at odds with cats who look down upon less-aggressive female cats, who fall into more traditionally feminine roles. Featherpaw is here to smash your "my brothers taught me" tough girl with glitter and sparkles and big, beautiful blue eyes.

Yoooo! Featherpaw obviously needs cats to train with and become good friends of so when that clusterfuck up above happens, they can be very disappointed in her. Or not!? Maybe a friend who stands by her even when she's ostracized / possibly kicked out of the clan??? Or just, if you'd like Featherpaw to take part in some crazy plot you've boiled up, let me know! In general, I want to ruin both Featherpaw and Bluepaw both, so seeing them get their hearts broken and having to experience pain and drama and disappointment is GREAT for me lol
